Tomorrow Michael and I leave on our first weekend backpacking excursion. We'll be hiking part of the AT with a WAY too heavy tent - but hey, beggars can't be choosers. Someday maybe we can afford to buy our own super light two person tent. For now - it's the 8 pounder.
There is NO WAY I'm lugging our huge camera on this trek, so don't expect a bunch of pictures. I'll take some before and after shots and hope that someone buys me a lightweight, lots of megapixels, no delay camera for Christmas.
