My Daisy

Maeryn has been looking forward to Daisy Girl Scouts for two years now - ever since she heard of the concept from her friend, Ireland.  I was sad when I realized she would be missing out on her first year of scouting as we traveled the land in our bus, so I talked to my friend, Summer, who told me about Julietting.

A Julietter is a Girl Scout without a home council or troop.  It's a way for girls like Maeryn to participate in scouting on the move.

So we're doing it!

Maeryn's uniform came in the mail today and within an hour, she'd earned the Promise Center.

As you can see, she's extremely proud.

Me too.  :)
