We Don't Crash a Wedding but we Meet Some Cool Friends.

We missed a few weddings.  Friends and former students were saying vows and exchanging rings galore and we were mostly in Kentucky.  We weren't sure what to do about this.  All the postings on Facebook made us melancholy - happy for them, sad we had missed it.  So we decided to make the bus a living tribute to at least one of the missed matrimonies.   We snapped pictures for our pals Matt and Dani and posted them to Facebook so they would know we were absolutely with them in spirit for their special day.  And we left it on the bus all the way to Tennessee (the mail finally came!), where we were planning to meet some fellow Unschoolers On the Road.

We parked the bus in a big parking lot and met our friends for lunch.

Maeryn got along well with their daughter, Hannah, and both took the reading of the in-store newspaper very seriously.
After an awesome lunch with awesome people, we headed back to the bus.  Before we could pull out, there was a knock at the door.  This is always a little disconcerting.  It was a well-mannered woman with a box of Krispie Kremes and a tract about Jesus.  She told us "Congratulations on your marriage!" and left before Michael could open his mouth to explain.  So we had a little pamphlet telling us how to "get saved" and two delicious Krispie Kremes.  So...  Matt and Dani... we owe you.
