A couple of weeks ago we got some strings of Christmas lights for the bus.
They've been sitting idly on the counter ever since.
We just... didn't get around to putting them up.
Until today.
I was minding my own business.
And Maeryn took matters into her own hands.
"Mommy, it's time to decorate the bus!"
And she did. All by her five-year-old self.
