Bus Update 3.

It's been quite sometime since I've given a real progress report on the goings on with the bus...

And so...

Here we are!

We've been getting a ton of work done - insulating the floor, ripping off unnecessary detailing, knocking out school bus lights, purchasing a $45 toilet...the works!

This weekend we had some friends family down for the weekend to help out:

Our helpers and dear friends from The Pancake Mansion, an intentional community in Harrisburg, PA.

New fixtures where the blinky lights were once upon a time... (donated)

Rust resistant paint - Michael painted the entire floor with this after a good cleaning.

Under this floor is vapor and moisture barrier + insulation (partially donated) to keep us warm in cold and cool in heat.  We also got an awesome space heater donated by friends.

Ian and Hanni work on removing Schooly detailing.

Hanni shows off the donated pieces we used behind the removed Schooly lights.

Taking down stripping.

We're incredibly excited. Things are going slowly because we don't have as much time as we'd like to get there, and we're nickle and diming it together at this point (using gig and art money in a jar - literally), but every trip is worth it, and I think it's going to be a great home soon.
